Ernie Gambler

Indigenous Musician from Calling Lake, Alberta, Canada

Ernie Gambler is a musician originally from Calling Lake Alberta who moved to Edmonton in the 1960’s in search of opportunity.  Ernie wished me to convey the contribution of native American’s to the world of popular music and particularly the indigenous genealogy of Hank Williams, Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix.  He is a lover of country music and the stories they tell.  The Glass Bead Game thanks Ernie for his personal and heart felt contribution to this episode.   A great singer and a genuine folk Artist.
